May I cordially invite you to St Augustine’s for the annual Partnership Mass in honour of Blessed John Ingram and the English Martyrs. Try to encourage others in your parish community to come along with you.
Thursday 24th May at 7.00 pm
followed by light refreshment to enable priests and people from across the Gateshead parishes to mingle and get to know each other.
It is hoped that this annual Mass will take place at a different church in our Partnership each year.
Looking forward to meeting you for this special event.

THE JOHN INGRAM PARTNERSHIP DEVELOPMENT PLAN –
AN INVITATION! This is an exciting opportunity for all
parishioners to become involved in developing our
Partnership for the future. On Saturday 26 May, from
9.30am to 12.30pm, a meeting will be held at St Joseph’s
Parish Centre, High West Street, Gateshead NE8 1LX. As a
group we will be looking at Service, Volunteering and
Stewardship. Everyone in the Partnership parishes is
invited to attend and to help with this task.
The John Ingram Partnership Development Plan aims to
empower, encourage and support the communities of the
partnership and beyond, to proclaim the Good News of
Jesus Christ in Word and Deed. The specific overall goal
for the area of Stewardship is to transform society by
living and sharing the faith and recognising our
responsibilities to be good stewards of our talents and
gifts – knowing that all comes from God. We will be
considering three objectives to help us to achieve this
goal:
Objective 1: Increase parishioner participation in all
aspects of parish life through ministry teams,
neighbourhood and small groups.
Objective 2: Increase the resources we have through
greater awareness, sharing and practical initiatives that
support those in need.
Objective 3: Finance Group to consult with Partnership
Dean and provide regular reports to parishes regarding
finances.
It is very important that as many people as possible are
involved and it would be great if every parish was
represented. Do come along, if only for the free coffee
and biscuits! For further information please contact Katie
Wilkinson (Chair of the Partnership Development Group)

Please try to attend this meeting as we continue to
develop our Partnership.
